What is MomentMal?
MomentMal is a free bucket list app for iPhone and Android. You collect the things you want to experience with your people, plan them with a date and a place, get suggestions that fit the weather, and keep the moments you've lived with a photo.
Is MomentMal free?
Yes. You can download and use MomentMal for free — including shared lists, templates, weather tips and memories.
How do I share a list with my partner or friends?
Open the list and tap the share icon at the top. You can send an invite link, for example via WhatsApp, or enter an email address. Whoever accepts sees the list and can plan along. If they don't have the app yet, the link takes them straight to the right store.
Who can see my lists?
Only you and the people you invite to a list yourself. There are no public profiles and no feed of strangers. If someone bothers you, you can report and block them.
How do the weather tips work?
When you turn on weather tips, the app uses your approximate location to fetch the forecast and suggests a fitting idea from your lists: outdoors when it's sunny, indoors when it rains. If you have a date coming up in the next few days, that comes first. You can turn the tips off at any time.
What is “Your people”?
A calm feed with just the people from your shared lists: new ideas, moments lived and memories. You can send a 💛 or add one of their ideas to your own list with “Me too!”.
Are there ready-made idea lists?
Yes. In the app you'll find templates like “Date ideas”, “Autumn for two” or “Discover Vienna”. Untick what doesn't fit and keep the rest as your own list. See all templates.
Can I save photos of the moments we've lived?
Yes. When you tick off an idea, you can add a photo and a few words. They turn into polaroids, a map of your places and, at the end of the year, “Your year”.
Will MomentMal remind me of dates?
Yes. Give an idea a date and you'll get a notification in time — and, if you like, when your people add or do something new. You choose what reaches you in your profile.
Does MomentMal work offline?
Yes. The app saves changes on your phone first and syncs them as soon as you're back online. Weather tips, templates and new invites need a quick connection.
Which languages is MomentMal available in?
English and German. The app follows your phone's language, and you can also set it in your profile.
Which devices does MomentMal run on?
On iPhone and iPad via the App Store and on Android devices via Google Play.
Can I use MomentMal on my own?
Of course. Every list is private until you invite someone. Plenty of people start alone and bring their people in later.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, at the bottom of your profile under “Delete account”. This permanently deletes your account and your content. All ways to delete your data.
